Enjoy the 2022 Silver Lake Experience
The Silver Lake Experience offers a three-day "Chautauqua" collaboration by the Silver Lake Institute and Asbury Retreat Center. They are excited to offer over 90 excellent workshops covering educational, recreational, spiritual, cultural, historical, and social justice topics. Breakfast and lunch served daily.
The event takes place from August 4-6, and features:
- Institute cottage and lake boat tours
- Portrayals of Frederick Douglass, William Pryor Letchworth, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Harriet Tubman and Mark Twain
- Make & take sessions
- Birding, quilting, gardening, aging, kayaking, crafting, writing
- Art, history, music, mature, photography, religion, science, theatre, travel & more!
Special evening performances by:
- Jazz with Rebecca Gilbert & Friends
- RPO Marimba Band
- Cornelius Eady Trio folk & Americana music
