Make plans to spend the evening of Friday, July 29, with Kathy Cairns Hendershott for a special summer piano concert at the ACWC in Perry.
Join Perry native and current assistant conductor with New York’s Metropolitan Opera, Dan Saunders, for his unique introduction to Kathy.
Kathy lives in Orangeville with her husband, Chuck. She studied piano with Iris Molinari during middle and high school and then with Patricia Hanson at Eastman School of Music.
She taught piano privately for 25 years but is now a full-time handweaver. You will not want to miss the magic that this “now full-time handweaver” creates when she touches the keys of the ACWC’s Steinway. So, invite a friend and come prepared to experience a memorable concert with Kathy playing Bach, Brahms, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Turina, and others.
The concert starts at 7 pm, with doors opening at 6:30 pm.
