Arcade’s Arts & Antiques Festival
Come explore Arcade’s Arts & Antiques Festival on Saturday, September 21, 2024, starting at 10AM. This quirky community that can offers multiple antique businesses, and a Village rich in architecture, local artisans, and talented musicians. Throughout the festival, artisans will be demonstrating their talents and musicians will be performing. There will also be a presence of several arts and crafts vendors, delicious and delectable food from our local restaurants and non-profit organizations and a historical architecture tour will take place.

Wyoming County's Historic Underground Railroad
Wyoming County played a vital role in the Underground Railroad - an escape route that took fugitive slaves from points south, through this area of Western New York, and into Canada by way of Buffalo. The locations listed were “stations” along the way where escaped slaves could hide from search parties, replenish their food and clothing, and receive directions and encouragement from sympathizers helping the fugitive slaves gain freedom.
