There's plenty of summer fun to be had, so get outdoors at Beaver Meadow! Canoe the beaver pond, explore wildflowers & insects and enjoy a campfire night hike. We have the rundown here for you and your family - just a short trek from Buffalo & Rochester! Programs include:

Canoeing the Beaver Pond

Saturday August 20th - 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Join Naturalist Breton for a morning paddle on the Beaver Pond! We'll go over paddling techniques and provide all necessary equipment. Non-members $15/BAS Members $10. 


Wildflowers and Insects

Sunday August 21st - 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Join Outdoor Educator Lauren for a hike in search of wildflowers and the insects that they rely on for pollination! Non-members $15/BAS Members $10.


Campfire Night Hike

Saturday August 27th - 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Join us for marshmallows and s'mores around a campfire before a night hike at Beaver Meadow.  We'll look for Screech-owls, Bats, and other nocturnal animals.  There will even be a guest appearance by Zelda, our Buffalo Audubon Screech-owl ambassador!  Bring a flashlight and see what we can find! ?Non-members $12 / BAS Members $8 or $24 per family of 4.
